An India product that starts in Surat

CityLoad replaces that with the same thing a taxi app gave cities twenty years ago: a price you can see, a vehicle you can track, and a driver whose papers somebody has actually checked.

What we do

We connect people who need a heavy vehicle with the local operators who own one. A customer books from their phone; the nearest suitable driver gets the job and can accept or decline it. The platform handles the matching, the fare, the tracking and the money.

What we do not do

We do not own vehicles and we do not employ drivers. Every JCB, dumper and truck on CityLoad belongs to a local operator running their own business. That is deliberate: the people who know how to keep a machine working are the people who own it.

Two things we will not trade away

Every fare is itemised before it is charged. A customer sees the base, the distance, the surge and any waiting as separate lines — before confirming, and again on the bill. A price a customer only discovers afterwards is a price they will dispute, and they will be right to.

Every driver is verified before their first job. Licence, RC, fitness, insurance, PUC and identity — all six, checked by a person, before anyone can go online. It slows onboarding down. It is worth it.

Where we are

Surat, Gujarat — and only Surat. Fares, dispatch radius and offer windows are all held per city, so 15 further cities from Gujarat to Chennai are already declared in the platform and can be opened with a rate card and a switch rather than a migration. Until one of them is opened, a booking there is refused with a reason rather than broadcast to drivers three hundred kilometres away. We would rather work properly in one city than badly in ten.
